Qualitative research studies are undertaken to decode stores, shopping centers, high streets,…. Shopping places are observed, analyzed, broken up and construed, based on shoppers’ behaviors and retailer’s strategies. Various qualitative tools are used as direct observations, focus groups, individual interviews, participative observations.

Topoye’s team is composed of a hard core and free electrons. Researchers, ethnologists, anthropologists, sociologists, architects, designers, urbanists, and analysts all contribute to Topoye’s studies.

Founder of Topoye: Adeline Ochs

Adeline Ochs has more than 10 years of retail experience all over Europe. She worked as Group Strategic Manager and Retail Intelligence Manager in Unibail-Rodamco group.

She holds a PhD in Marketing (Paris II and ESCP Europe), focused on store clustering and economic performance in shopping centres, and she has published scientific articles in retail.

She’s actually teaching retail marketing in ESCP Europe and Dauphine University.
